Steven and Dimity visit BioPol - a marine biotechnological laboratory located in remote North Iceland. There they investigate the nature of the research of Dr. Magnús Örn Stefánsson and Dr. Bettina Scholz learning more about the secret worlds of algae and how they benefit humankind through the production of essential fatty acids and create beautiful shapes in the form of Diatomes.

Shot on location outside Skagaströnd, a remote town in Northern Iceland, population of 500 people, located by the mountain Spákonufell. A serene and distant area that is home to rich a diverse wildlife. Skagaströnd is the home of NES Artist Residency, which invites artists from around the globe to stay in this small village to create their work, of which this film series is a result.
