In Visible Ink 2021

Symposium Presented by the Museum of Freedom and Tolerance

at WA Museum Boola Bardip

Supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Culture Industries

Media and Production Co-Ordination by Steven Alyian.

The Museum was proud to host its second In Visible Ink Symposium as a collection of 10 events held in partnership with the WA Museum Boola Bardip in March 2021, with financial support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

The 2021 event took place at Boola Bardip, a place of many stories, with 35 speakers, artists, academics, historians, musicians, fashion designers, writers, and film makers. 80% of these individuals were First Nations Peoples and people of colour, all united by a common cause, a relentless drive to make something most of us don’t see visible - to shine a light on a story, on history, to deconstruct and constantly reimagine the world around us anew.
